Deposit terms
The short version: it holds your spot, you can have it back any time, and it comes off the price.
- What it is. A $10 deposit per puck holds a spot in the founders batch (100 units), in the order deposits are paid. It is not the full price and it is not a purchase.
- Fully refundable. Ask any time before you buy, for any reason, and we refund the whole deposit to your card. Send a note from the contact page with your spot number. Refunds go back through Stripe and usually show up in 5 to 10 business days.
- Credited toward the price. When units are ready we email you the price and a ship window. If you buy, the deposit comes off the price. If you don't, we refund it.
- No price or date yet. The puck is in development and its shape and details will change. We have not set a price or a ship date, and we will not charge you anything more without your go-ahead.
- If we don't build it. If the founders batch does not go ahead, every deposit is refunded in full.
- Made for the US. The first batch is built for use in the United States (the US 915 MHz radio band). Choosing Europe or UK on the puck page only tells us you want that version; no deposit is taken for it.
- Payment. Deposits are taken by Stripe on Stripe's own page. We never see or store your card number.
