For overlanders and off-roaders

Know where the tail is and whose land you are on.

Signum links UTVs, side-by-sides and rigs by radio, with no cell service. Mixed brands share one map and chat, and a land layer shows who manages the ground ahead.

Different rigs, different systems.

A convoy rarely matches: a side-by-side, a couple of trucks, a rig with a rooftop tent. Group tools built into one brand are usually made for that brand.

Out on a trail, the lead loses the tail behind dust or a hill. At every junction someone is waiting and wondering whether the rest took the turn.

You also want to know whose land you are crossing. Trails cut through ground managed by different agencies, and the answer is rarely on the sign.

A weekend convoy

  1. At the trailhead staging area, you make a group and every driver scans the QR code to join.
  2. You download the map for the route, and drop a waypoint at the camp you are aiming for.
  3. At the first junction stop, you open the map and see where each rig was last heard.
  4. The tail is a few minutes back, so you send a short message and pin the spot you are waiting.
  5. With a connection, you turn on the land layer to see whether the next stretch is Forest Service, BLM or state land.
  6. At camp, you review the recorded track and send it to the group.
