For boaters and paddlers

Keep every boat on one map.

Signum links your group by radio, so you can see where each boat was last heard and message the others across the water. Pin the put-in, the portage and camp.

Signum map of a group with waypoints, a recorded track and a radio
01

Boats drift apart, and the water is wide.

A paddling group strings out along a shoreline. One boat stops to fish, another takes the far side of the bay, and the last one is behind a point.

There is no cell signal on most of the water you want to be on, and shouting does not carry as far as you would like.

You want to know where the other boats were last heard, and have a place to leave a note for the group.

A lake trip

  1. At the put-in, you make a group and each boat scans the QR code to join.
  2. You save the put-in and the planned camp as waypoints before launching.
  3. Out on the lake, you open the map at a rest and see where each boat was last heard.
  4. One boat is behind the point, so you send a short message and pin the landing you are heading for.
  5. At the portage, you drop a waypoint at the carry trail so the others can find the start.
  6. At camp, you record where you paddled and send the track to the group.
